Privacy Policy
PouchRadar is a 21+ locator for nicotine pouch and snus availability. We collect as little as possible and sell none of it.
What we collect
- Account email — only if you create an account, used to sign you in and attribute your stock reports. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we also receive the display name that provider returns with your email.
- Stock reports — the store, product, availability status, and optional price you submit. Reports are reviewed before publication and shown to other users without your identity.
- Anonymous usage events — a random identifier stored on your device, the action type (e.g. "app opened", "report submitted"), and your platform (web/iOS). We do not store IP addresses, device fingerprints, or advertising identifiers, and we use no third-party trackers, ad networks, or cookies.
- Pouch preferences — if you answer the short questions when you first open the app, the brands, flavors, and strength you pick are saved against the same random device identifier so we can put your brands first. They are not tied to your name or email, you can skip the questions entirely, and answering differently later replaces them.
- Push subscriptions — if you turn on push alerts (in the web app or the iOS app), the delivery token your browser or phone issues for this app is stored against your account so restock alerts can reach the device. Turning alerts off or deleting your account deletes it.
- Pouch Plus waitlist email — if you join, used only to contact you about Pouch Plus.
Location
If you tap "Nearby," your device location is used to center the map and compute distances. We do not store it, and we never keep a history of where you have been.
There is one exception, and it only happens if you ask for it. When you create a restock alert, we save that alert's center point to your account so we can check whether the pouch you want has come back in stock near you. That point is rounded to about 110 metres before it is saved — enough to run the alert, not enough to identify a home address. Deleting the alert deletes the location with it.
While you browse, the map sends the corner coordinates of the area you are viewing so we can return the stores inside it. That describes the part of the map on your screen, not your position, and we do not retain it.
Where data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and served via Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf and receive standard connection information (such as IP addresses) as part of serving requests.
Age requirement
PouchRadar is for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and the app is gated accordingly.
Your choices
You can use PouchRadar without an account. You can delete your account at any time inside the app: open the account menu, then your Scout profile, and tap Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — it removes your sign-in, your profile, your saved stores and alerts, and un-links your reports. If you'd rather we do it, or you want a Pouch Plus waitlist entry removed, email everettjs10@icloud.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes will be noted in the app.
